Last weekend we went on a little family outing, we went to see a small resort and outbound centre aswell as going to the house of my father’s friend in Trawas. Lanang had such a great time at both places..especially on our little “hike” where he fell into a paddy field. With all glorious mud, yup.. but luckily not cuts and bruises thanks to my father’s friend Oom Hariyo, which was carrying him at the time. He fell first and raised Lanang high with his arms, had half his body in mud.hahaha oops, thanks Oom.. ;) Anyways here are the photos… :)

just before leaving, he didn’t want to be put in sandals..but we knew better to pack his sandals along. yup.

Before you are submerged in these following photos, I would like to say thank you so much to my cousin Mas Gamma, our documenter photographer of the day; that’s him playing the kendang. All the pictures in this post were taken by him (except the one of him ofcourse.nyeheheh). Visit his deviantart page here.
The first stop: Kaliandra Sejati which is actually a retreat resort with a lot of interesting activities and 18 hectares of it. Lookie…even Eyang Adduk tried to climb the wall somewhat.. :D

Second and last stop was Oom Hariyo’s house and surrounding paddy fields. Lanang had a great time getting to know the chickens and hens, feeding goats, they also had a cat..an white very pretty long-haired cat. Didn’t take any pictures of it though :p

Just…look at that face, he was really chuckling and laughing as the goats were tugging at the leaves he was giving them.

Time for a little hike to the neighbouring fields! I absolutely LOVE this set of photos of Lanang and Eyang Titi:

Now for the absolutely prettiest paddy fields I have seen since a while:

*kiss* *kiss*

Group photo..aand continue. After quite a while we realised we were so dead, it was getting more and more difficult to navigate, and the view even more so distracting:

These following photos were the photos taken before and quite a while after “the fall”. We knew it was a slippery and pretty high, so we had arranged Lanang to be passed over. Nevertheless the mud caught us and the inevitable happened :D But Lanang was okay, the whole fall was pretty slow motion and funny actually.heheheh

Photo after the fall, see..not so many mud on us.. we cleaned up at a small creek right afterwards. Lanang still a bit caught up from the fall as you can see from his face :[

Thank you Oom Hariyo for your bodyguard-ing Lanang :D

Just realized I haven’t posted in a while. Things have been pretty much stabilized and running it’s daily course now since Papayo’s been gone to Milan. Lanang’s doing great, he is actually also falling into a more predictable schedule with his naps and bedtime (which couldn’t be better). I also hope to begin his toilet training soon. I know.. pretty late, but I was hoping a stable start will help fasten the process and make it less stressful for Lanang.
Nevertheless I am feeling kinda lonely, I guess just missing pillow talk with Papayo and craving for someone to talk to; about nothing and anything. Of course we chat and skype and all..but I don’t know… I guess I am also especially missing girl talk. I have realized I may not have maintained my relationships with ma gals… I never thought of myself as someone who ditches friends because of relationships, but did I turn into someone just like that? Have I drifted apart from most of my friends….?
I always assumed (at least I know this is true with some of my best friends), that even how far apart we’ve grown..when we get together it would always be great and we would pick up where ever we left at. But suddenly you realized it has been AGES since you actually got together/called/chat/whatever. Maybe the fact that everyone’s 2 continents apart also doesn’t help? What if all the updates you get about them are on facebook together with their other 1000 friends? Well.. I can’t complain, because that is what I did also.
I never closed any doors….but I guess I am guilty of never stepping out of mine.
Feels quite lonely here. *enter deep sigh*
This looks like fun…so appropriate.LOL
So doing it after work..!
Hey guys! Just wondering…who wants to do the Gangnam Style POP Cardio Dance routine with me and your fellow POPsters in LA either next week or the week after just random in a crowded location? I’m like kind of serious. Originally I wanted to do a flash mobilates but this seems way more fun without…
Don’t you just love it when a book like this comes along… Oasis in the desert of perfect know-it-all poised mommy books!haha
