Curious Mama

Up to this point I’m having no real trouble sleeping, and amazingly I only wake up twice or three times tops for the loo.. probably I’m not drinking enough, but last check-up the doctor said I have adequate water for labour.

Counting down: 11 days to D-day! ;)

So sweet of her…!! XD thanks a bunch, oh and I haven’t mentioned to her yesterday that Rio loved it A LOT, since we haven’t actually bought bigger sized and real “boyish” clothes..and they’re just perfect!

So, first of all..here’s me at 37 weeks, its was taken 2 days ago, as we were headed to our 1st Wedding Anniversary dinner..yaay to ourselves! :D

As I’m writing now I’m waiting for my in-laws to arrive from surabaya, since husband’s going to be in Jakarta for a couple of days and couldn’t bare to leave me all alone… ;p

Anyways last night the stuff from my mom in law already arrived, I wanted to share this:

What you’re looking at are herbal post-natal treatment pills, traditional javanese treatment, that is.. Usually I wouldn’t be excited at all about “jamu”, BUT JUST LOOK at that packaging!! The colours, the fonts, the PHOTO! Soo retro I just gotta love it!! XD It’s actually the one for export (not that it won’t taste as bitter), but the packaging, leaflet, instructions, are all in two languages (Indonesian and English—and good English, not crappy as I actually expected :p)

and…inside, what I’ll be consuming for the next couple of months (crossing my fingers):

Horray! I finished my work today at the office! Took me one extra day to finish my work, since me and hubby has been sick the whole week.. Don’t know if it’s the lack of sleep I’ve been getting that’s keeping me sick for so long… I’m having a pretty bad cough and I feel bad for baby everytime I cough, he’s probably experiencing a little quake in there :(

Anyways..last weekend my parents and brother was here! Had lots of fun putting up the nursery together, opening up presents from my aunt and uncle from Jakarta, shopping, etc..

so there’s hubby and my dad figuring out how to operate the stroller + attach the car seat on it. Thank you soo much tante indah n om bowo for the very special gift.. ;))

Saturday night dinner at Jimbaran..hubby was taking the picture..

and at sunday we went to the sunday market at Seminyak square, did minor shopping us mother & daughter..

and from the looks of these men, we took too….long.  ;D

Spent the day browsing through a forum on babycentre.co.uk and I found this post, which I find cute because it’s just like something I would say. ;p 

“For weeks I asked everyone who had had babies how did they know they were in labour and all they kept saying was *you will just know* and I hated that response because I wanted more of an answer but when it came they were right: I did just know. haha”

Anyways, labour does vary and it may last from 45 minutes to three days… praying mine will be a fast one. amiin.
